Yesterday, I had the solemn honor of paying my final respects to the late Alfred Ugochukwu Nwosu, a man whom I regarded as both a big brother and a dear friend. His passing has left an unfillable void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his legacy as a humble yet towering giant will continue to inspire us for generations to come.

Alfred's influence extended well beyond his professional accomplishments. He played a pivotal role in several landmark achievements, not just in Anambra but across the nation. His deep connection with the revered Ikemba Odumegwu Ojukwu placed him at the core of significant developments, especially in the political sphere. Alfred was one of the strongest pillars of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in its early years, serving as Deputy National Publicity Secretary and contributing immensely to its growth and foundation.

His nearly four decades as Executive Director at Reads & Mark Ltd and his contributions as a board member of Innoson Group showcased his exceptional business acumen and leadership skills. However, what truly set Alfred apart was his deep commitment to giving back to society. His selfless nature and boundless generosity touched the lives of countless individuals, particularly widows and those in need. These acts of kindness were often done quietly, without seeking recognition or praise, yet they brought hope and relief to many.

Though Alfred lived a life marked by simplicity, the impact he left on this world was anything but small. His integrity, compassion, and unwavering dedication to uplifting others have woven a legacy of positive change. His influence will undoubtedly continue to shape lives for many years to come.

As we mourn the loss of this remarkable man, we also celebrate the life he lived—a life of integrity, generosity, and quiet strength. May his soul rest in perfect peace, and may his family find comfort and strength in the Lord during this challenging time.
